Conference on the Holocaust at Millersville University
The Vilnius Yiddish Institute Director Prof. Sarunas Liekis has returned from his visit to the U.S. Prof. Liekis has participated in the 30th annual conference at Millersville University. The conference was called the Holocaust and Genocide. Focus of the annual Holocaust conference always was the genocide of some 6 million Jews during World War Two. This year speakers addressed the Holocaust and other occasions of mass murder. Prof. Liekis addressed the audience with the lecture on Jewish anti-Nazi resistance. This internationally known conference is considered an important intellectual event of University and general community.
