A Group of Local Schoolchildren Visits VYI

A group of students from the Vilnius St. Cristopher's gymnasium visited VYI on the 2nd of May, 2012. They were led by their school teacher Vytautas Toleikis, Advisory Board Member of Maceva and Director of the Lithuanian Committee of the United World Colleges. The Circle of Walkers (as they call themselves) are especially interested in the multicultural history of Vilnius, they try to rediscover their native city through visiting different interesting places and people. VYI's Fania Brantsovsky shared her personal experience telling them about life in Vilna ghetto and taking them on a tour through the pre-war Jewish Vilne.
